MEET Chris

With 950 hours of advanced teacher training and nine years of experience, I’ve loved immersing myself in everything Pilates—from its history and the people who were there at the start, to the ones who are teaching the method today.

That’s where you and I come in.

Using the equipment and exercises created by Joseph Pilates, we’ll focus on building control and stability to improve posture, flexibility and strength. The movements you learn in my studio will become habits you can take into daily life to help prevent injuries, feel better and live better.

I’m trained to work with people at every stage of life, with all sorts of conditions and abilities. No matter your experience level, you’ll end each session understanding your body better—which muscles do what, the movements that will help them do it better, and the benefits you’ll feel from it all.

STUDIO and EQUIPMENT

Warm, natural light, gleaming hardwoods and an inclusive space where you feel free to move. Welcome to my studio.
I use industry-best equipment from Balanced Body, including:

Pilates-Reformer-Inspire-Pilates-Hingham

Reformer

Designed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, the Reformer features a carriage that glides across a track with spring resistance.

Pilates-Tower-Chris-Campbell

Tower

A compact version of Joseph Pilates’ Cadillac, Tower exercises are performed on a mat using a series of springs attached to a “tower.”

Pilates-chair-Chris-Campbell-Hingham

Chair

Originally called the Wunda Chair because it doubled as a living room chair, today’s Chair exercises utilize a pedal with spring resistance.

Plus, all the accessories you need to maximize the benefits of your practice, like the Pilates Arc, Magic Circle, Jumpboard, Foot Corrector and Toe Corrector. If these don’t sound familiar now, they will soon.
